Sending you the very best wishes for a joyful holiday season.
What a year it’s been up to now. We have had some fantastic patients through our doors and you have all worked hard on your road to recovery. We will be open throughout the holiday season with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years day, if you need us just call on 01254 823183.
We have added new members to our team: Whalley Physiotherapy now consists of Jane, Hilary, Mary, Gemma, Harry and Sarah (who also got married this year). We have fantastic support staff in Anne, Sue and Peggy, and they have added me, a very noisy Practice Manager, Becca to the team.
We are lucky to be able to advise our patients that we have a Podiatrist, Dietician, Gastroenterologist, Orthopaedic Consultant, Pilates teacher and a private GP using our facilities too. There is lots planned for 2016 in terms of our fantastic rehabilitation gym so keep an eye out for exciting Whalley Physiotherapy developments.
As it is our 15th Year we have pushed both ourselves and you, our patients, to lots of challenges with some amazing achievements.
You have completed in your patient challenges runs, cycles, walks, swims, muddy runs, treks and most importantly you have done your exercises to aid your recovery (well some of you have) 😉 Please do tell us if you are thinking of taking on something big, if we can help in any way we will!
We have seen a campaign to encourage better posture (more on that next year) and we have been lucky to discharge lots of people who if not 100% fit and well are much better than you were at the beginning of your visits to us!
Jane has as always inspired and pushed (!) her staff to get out of our comfort zones; Anne completed her 15 summits (WOW! What an achievement) and not to be outdone Sue did a 15 mile walk. Sarah ran the Manchester marathon, Harry did a marine challenge with his family, Hilary has a fantastic surprise lined up (pictures to follow) along with her scramble, not to be stopped by her broken wrist (she’ll never look at a ram in the same way)and Mary has a dressage challenge lined up for the end of the month (quite something for the lady who also had her wrist broken by a horse)! Jane completed the West Highland way with some of our patients, did some crazy bike rides (the last of which she is currently completing), a mud run with patients and members of our team and finally I started to ride a bike and completed a few runs.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your custom and support over the last year.
Also we have Physiotherapy gift vouchers available if you haven’t yet sorted out your Christmas presents.
Best wishes from all of us at Whalley Physiotherapy.
