In March 2010 Jane took part in a gruelling 150 km trek over the volcanoes in Guatemala to raise money for Study Guatemala a registered charity that funds a school for disadvantaged street children in Guatemala City.

The whole experience was amazing, from meeting the indigenous populations of the Guatemalan highlands, spending time with the kids in the villages,  and the humbling experience of going into the school in Guatemala City where the kids are desperate for the chance of an education, proud of what little they have and the teachers who have devoted their lives to making a difference and giving them a chance of a future.

A big thank you to the people who came to Whalley Physio and helped me raise £6000.Momentous in every way.

In 2004 Hilary Baldwin sadly unexpectedly lost her son Robert (19yrs) due to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). She now belongs to a charity called SUDEP Action.

Every year, to celebrate Roberts Birthday, she holds a football tournament where friends and family come together to battle it out for a trophy as winners, man of the match and top scorer. This year was no exception and 20 teams took part at Burnley in honour of his memory.

Sarah helped provide Physio support and sports massage for competitors of the Preston Marathon in conjunction with St Catherine’s Hospice and this year did a similar thing in the Preston Big Bike Ride 2013.
